An In-depth Journey Through Romans

Romans: it's probably one of the most studied scriptures in the new testament, but for me it poses an interesting challenge. In my quiet times, when I choose a book of the bible to study, I always think of Romans. However, it is the only book that everytime I start it, I get derailed after a few chapters. Never. To. Return. I end up starting another book, which I complete through the end, or shift from one topic to another.

Where does that leave us? Well, I would like to tackle the entire book, one chunk at a time. I also miss the exegetical studies of text from my time at BTSR; looking deeply into and behind the text. So, over the next few months, I'm going to tackle an detailed discussion on the book of Romans, posting my notes, research, and insights here to this blog. Updates will come roughly every Thursday morning, as time permits.
